Partnering For Resilience at Mansion House. The NDF Impact Report 2025
On Thursday, June 24th 2026, we welcomed partners, clients, colleagues, government representatives and humanitarian organisations at Mansion House for the Natural Disaster Fund event during London Climate Action Week. Guests came from around the world for a day of engaging discussions focused on advancing climate resilience and closing the protection gap.
The event also introduced two major milestones for the Fund. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office announced an additional £3 million for the NDF Technical Assistance Facility, supporting the development of new climate risk transfer projects through 2030, while MS Amlin joined the Fund as a commercial capacity provider alongside Hannover Re, committing up to US$50 million in risk-sharing capacity.
With London’s heat offering a timely reminder of the climate challenges ahead, the conversations inside Mansion House focused on practical solutions: innovative risk finance, blended capital and stronger public-private collaboration to help make disaster risk protection more accessible to vulnerable communities.
It was a privilege to bring together leaders from across the public and private sectors to exchange perspectives, share experience and discuss how pre-arranged finance can support faster, more effective responses when disasters strike.
