We specialize in consulting on climate risks, climate reporting and index insurance solutions to mitigate the effects of adverse weather, climate change, and natural catastrophes. We combine risk management with data science, while simplifying, digitizing, and automating the risk management process.
The Climate Risk Insights and Solutions team consults public and private clients globally on climate reporting, climate-related risks, and consequent risk transfer solutions. The team focuses on the tailored delivery of climate risk assessments, scenario analysis, adaptation advisory and disclosure aligned to the TCFD recommendations, using scientifically backed metrics, whilst emphasizing a supply chain approach and climate opportunities. We are now looking to recruit a Senior Climate Risk Reporting Consultant to strengthen our capabilities and further develop the team.
You act as a Senior Consultant, further developing our climate risk service offerings and expanding our partnership and client portfolio, reporting to the Head of Climate Risk Insights and Solutions.
Your tasks include:
Advise and guide clients on climate-related reporting and disclosure strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices, including the TCFD framework.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ climate-related risks and opportunities, utilizing thorough understanding of climate science, regulatory landscape and emerging trends.
Provide expert advice on integrating climate risk considerations into clients’ risk management frameworks, investment strategies and decision-making processes.
Stay up to date with evolving climate reporting regulations, standards and guidelines and ensure clients’ compliance with relevant requirements.
Building internal climate risk intelligence – industry developments, emerging trends, academic insights and leading practices climate-related reporting and disclosure.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing ongoing support and guidance on climate-related matters, as well as develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
You have:
Extensive experience in climate-related reporting, climate risk analysis, sustainability, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of the TCFD framework, its recommendations, and implementation of best practices.
Familiarity with climate science, climate modelling, and scenario analysis methodologies.
Strong understanding of global climate policies, regulations, and emerging trends related to climate reporting and risk management.
Proven track record of developing and implementing climate-related reporting frameworks, strategies and metrics.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights and recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Professional certifications related to climate reporting, sustainability, or risk management (e.g. CDP, GRI, SASB) are a plus.
Bachelor or Master degree in sustainability, environmental or climate sciences, (sustainable) finance or related field.
Demonstrated passion for and commitment to addressing climate change and sustainability challenges.
You are a team player with strong analytical and inter-personal skills. You are curious and bring passion and innovation to your work. You are solution and results oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a structured and timely manner.
Candidates must have Swiss or EU citizenship or Swiss work permit.
You will be expected to travel globally (approx. 10%).
