The Climate Risk Insights and Solutions (CRIS) team

The CRIS team consults public and private clients globally on climate reporting, climate-related risks, and consequent risk transfer solutions. The team focuses on delivering tailored climate risk assessments, scenario analysis, adaptation advisory and disclosure aligned to TCFD recommendations using science-based metrics, whilst emphasizing a supply chain approach and climate opportunities. We are now looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled consultant to strengthen our capabilities and further develop the team. 

You will act as a Climate Risk Consultant, further developing our climate risk service offerings and expanding our partnerships and client portfolio You will report to the Head of Climate Risk Insights and Solutions.

Your tasks include:

  • Analysis and writing of consulting reports in the field of climate and NatCat risks

  • Preparation of mandates, writing and designing proof of concepts, contribution to the origination of new consulting mandates

  • Project management and coordination of consulting projects

  • Support in building the climate risk ecosystem, establishing partnerships and collaborations

  • Building internal climate risk intelligence - market and academic insights

  • Representation at conferences, including presentations and meetings

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in climate sciences, sustainable finance, finance

  • Significant interest in physical climate risks

  • Former commitment in the climate risk space is a plus

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English; German and Italian are a plus

  • Strong relationship-management skills and ability to establish rapport and credibility

  • Passion for innovation, connecting the dots, creating, and building an emerging topic

  • Business acumen and capability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment

You are a team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You are curious and bring passion and innovation to your work. You are solutions- and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a structured and timely manner.

Candidates must have Swiss or EU citizenship, or Swiss work permit. You will be expected to travel globally (approx. 10%).
