Dr. Stefan Lippe
Chairman: Our Reinsurer
Stefan can look back on a distinguished career in insurance. Some major milestones were Head of the Bavarian Re Group, COO and CEO of Swiss Re. After nearly 30 years with Swiss Re, Stefan has also turned to other activities including BoD member of AXA and Chairman of the AXA Audit Committee, BoD member of Commerzbank and Chairman of CelsiusPro. He was named Reinsurance CEO of the year 2011 by the leading industry publication «Reactions», and at the Worldwide Reinsurance Awards 2013 ceremony, he was recognized with the «Lifetime Achievement Award».
Dr. Stephan Hostettler
Stephan is Managing Partner of his independent consulting firm, and has been active as an entrepreneur and consultant in Switzerland, the USA, Europe and other international markets since 2002. His consulting firm Hostettler&Company is specialized in implementing sustainable value-based corporate governance. Furthermore, Stefan is lecturer for Corporate Governance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Prior to this, he worked in Switzerland for a major bank in the area of financial analysis and in the USA in consulting on corporate finance and corporate governance.

Mark founded CelsiusPro in 2008 with the view that climate change is a mega trend and affects the bottom line of companies and therefore new risk transfer products are pivotal. Mark was on the BoD of the Weather Risk Management Association (WRMA) 2012-2016. Mark has held various positions with Swiss Bank Cooperation and UBS in the area of FX, Rates and Collateral Trading as well as FX prime Brokerage Sales and trading platforms. Mark is a CFA Charter holder and has an MBA in Economics from the University of Rochester/Bern.

Director Business Development & Technology
Sebastian is Head of Business Development and Technology. He is specialised in the development of Business Intelligence and Big Data solutions for the insurance sector. Sebastian has been working for leading private weather service providers for over 10 years, where he has been part of the executive management team, responsible for the business sectors insurance, retail and agriculture. Sebastian studied Meteorology and Geophysics at the University of Innsbruck and holds a Master in Business Intelligence and Big Data Analytics from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences.
CEO CelsiusPro Australia Pty Ltd
Jonathan has been involved in the financial markets for the last 30 years having obtained experience in the Australian, London and Hong Kong markets. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of New England as well as a Graduate Diploma of Corporate Law from the University of Sydney. Jonathan is a Senior Associate of ANZIFF and FINSIA and has a proficient knowledge in all aspects of OTC derivatives, foreign exchange, commodity futures and equities markets. He has been CEO of CelsiusPro Australia Pty Ltd. since 2012.
Head of Consulting
Lea and her team consult clients from the public and private sectors on climate, agricultural and natural catastrophe risks worldwide. Furthermore she manages the Technical Assistance Facility of the InsuResilience Investment Fund to protect local communities and small businesses from extreme weather and climate change. She has more than seven years’ experience in index insurance, natural catastrophe modelling and climate change adaptation strategies. Previously she was with Swiss Re Global Partnerships to create tailored insurance solutions for the public sector. Lea holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland.
